How’s everyone doing? It’s been a long time since I have an entry here. If I hadn’t mention it before, it was because I got too busy settling and getting my feet in foreign lands. Yup, I moved to the other side of the globe.

It was an exciting, interesting and at the same time nerve-wracking experience. I have no family over here in the UK when I decided to move for a better future in terms of my career and life in general. It is a liberating experience.

So how does it feel now living in the UK?

Quite frankly, if only Philippines could offer the same benefits as UK I would rather stay. If you have no support system in terms of friends and colleagues, you’ll be battling with homesickness, especially during colder season or if you live in the rural areas because most shops closes at five or six pm. Not a lot of malls too to take away your sense of loneliness in this side of the world. So if you’re single and young, I suggest you opt for the city (London).
